CSEA Faculty Excellence Award
Nomination Form

Purpose:
The CSEA Faculty Excellence Award was created to recognize CSEA members who demonstrate distinction in an area of service, teaching or leadership. Each year, two faculty will be selected to receive a $500.00 cash award, as well as a plaque for the award winners. A recipient of the award will not be eligible to win the award in two consecutive years
.

Who can nominate:

Any Columbus State CSEA member. Faculty may not nominate themselves.

Criteria:

CSEA members are eligible to be nominated for this award for their achievements in one or more of the following areas:

    • Significant participation or leadership in a professional organization (not limited to CSEA)
    • Innovation in instruction
    • Commitment to student success
    • Community service
    • College service

  • Process:

    Complete the online nomination form, below, and click submit. Nominations will be collected during the fall and spring semesters. A five member panel of CSEA Association Representatives will review the nominations and contact each nominee. The nominee will then be asked to submit a two-page description of their designated activity. The panel will review the submissions and vote. Presentation of the awards will be in the spring semester
