What's Really Happening

Columbus State Education Association Newsletter of November 4, 2002

SUMMARIES OF FACT-FINDING ISSUES

In an ongoing effort to make certain that all faculty understand the scope and detail of our contract proposals, we have attached as a Word document the summaries to each of our major issues. We have also included the General Summary that introduced our portfolio of fact-finding documents.

Revised copies of our salary schedule proposals and comparative data about the College's proposal are forthcoming.

CSEA COMMUNICATIONS

As your negotiating team, we have been honored to represent the interests of faculty in collective bargaining. We have been open about our roles within the Association and have provided our names and phone numbers so that faculty with questions or concerns have the opportunity to contact us directly. We appreciate the opportunity that many of you have given us to clarify union positions and the rationales for them. Regrettably, we have received a few emails that we can't respond to because the senders lacked the courage to sign them. We continue to welcome honest inquiries, and as always we value whatever information or insights faculty members wish to share with us.

What's Really Happening is produced by the Communications Committee of the Columbus State Education Association. We welcome your comments, news, and insights.
